Since its beginning in 1933, Local 1005 has been the driving force for Transit Workers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Area.  Local 1005 has worked, fought, and at times struggled over the years to bring us to where we are today. This is the result of the efforts made by our past members.  What 1005 accomplishes in the years ahead is up to you. Our Union is only as strong as its members. Your involvement and participation is what makes our Union work and what makes our Union strong. Your involvement and participation is what will determine what our future will be.
